Dr. Ohlemacher was awarded the Dean’s Award of Excellence in public health school. During medical school, she served as the Social Chairman for her class. She was elected Administrative Chief Resident from 2008-2009. In 2010, Dr. Ohlemacher was selected as one of Texas' favorite physicians when she was honored with the Patients’ Choice Award. She was recently named one of Houston's top doctors by H-Texas Magazine for 2011.
Dr. Ohlemacher's breadth of practice includes caring for women of all ages and stages of life for all of their obstetrics and gynecology needs. She understands that women have amazing ability to take on many roles and juggle tasks simultaneously. Dr. Ohlemacher hopes to help keep her patients healthy, so they can enjoy their lives and wear their many hats.
Dr. Ohlemacher enjoys obstetrics and feels very blessed to be part of the birth experience with her patients and their new family. Her interests in gynecology include minimally invasive surgery and non-incision procedures that get her patients back on their feet quickly. Dr. Ohlemacher is on medical staff at The Woman’s Hospital of Texas. She practices at our Pearland location full-time and looks forward to meeting new patients and new families.
When she is not in the office, Dr. Ohlemacher enjoys jogging and training for marathons. She also enjoys chasing her dogs around the yard and spending time with her husband, Paul, and son, Charlie. She is expecting another little Ohlemacher in April 2011.
