June Davis is a certified Women’s Health Care Nurse Practitioner. She began
her education at Vanderbilt University where she earned her Bachelor of
Science in Biology in 1993. Because of her lifelong desire to work in
healthcare, she decided to remain at Vanderbilt and pursue a graduate
nursing degree. She graduated summa cum laude from Vanderbilt University
School of Nursing in 1995 with a Master in Science of Nursing, specializing
in women’s health. While studying women’s health at Vanderbilt, June had
particular interest in women with addiction and domestic violence.
Upon graduation, June practiced in Fayetteville, NC, as a Women’s Health
Nurse Practitioner for a very large obstetrical and gynecological practice
for two years. Missing her family and Texas, June relocated back to her
hometown of Houston in 1997. Upon her return, she began working for the
University of Texas Medical School at Houston where she worked with the
Department of Obstetrical, Gynecological and Reproductive Sciences for
seven years. Before joining Complete Women’s Care Center June worked in
a private practice in the Memorial City area. Here she was able to develop
strong relationships with her patients and successfully build her own practice.
June works with Dr. Jurney in the office seeing pregnant patients as well as
performing gynecological and well-woman exams. She is available for same day
appointments and is trained in ultrasound. Patients coming to see Dr. Jurney for
their first pregnancy visit will meet with June for their initial consultation,
exam, screening labs and ultrasound.
Outside the office June enjoys reading, getting together with friends and
family and caring for her two young daughters, Annie and Mary Drew.
