Dr. Lisa Beard is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and joined Complete Women's Care Center in 2008 after completing her residency training at Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston. She is a graduate of The University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in child development. She obtained her Doctorate of Medicine in 2004 from the University of South Alabama.

Dr. Beard graduated in the top third of her medical school class. During this time, she was elected to the medical school admissions committee where she served for two years. In 2007, she served on the Ob/Gyn residency selection committee at Memorial Hermann Hospital where she took an active role in the recruitment process.

Dr. Beard has a particular interest in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery including laparoscopic procedures and non-incision procedures. Her practice also includes general obstetrics and a full range of gynecologic services. In addition, Dr. Beard has a focus on facial aesthetics and is trained to administer BOTOX® cosmetic to minimize the signs of aging. She enjoys establishing a continuum of care with her patients and building lifelong relationships with them and their families.

Dr. Beard is on staff at The Woman’s Hospital of Texas. Dr. Beard has recently received a "Patient's Choice Award" from online patient reviews.

In her spare time, Dr. Beard enjoys spending quality time with her husband, Jeff, and son, Emmett, exercising, decorating, and playing with her three pugs.
